Park Day School has been growing over the past decade or so, most recently expanding to include 7th and 8th grades and a Bridge-Kindergarten. This expansion has created a need for more space, and purchasing the Matilda Brown Home was the perfect solution! Park Day School now has a four-acre oasis of green in the heart of an urban area; a place where children can play in verdant gardens and learn in historic buildings.

Open the Gate, the Campaign for Park Day School, will enable the school to have all nine grades on one campus, modernize the Matilda Brown building and eventually renovate the existing main building, create a multipurpose room and expand outdoor curricula.

Take a look at the Project Timeline and Renderings section to view the most recent floor plans, landscape plan, and architectural renderings, including the entrance and new dance space. We are currently on schedule to have 7th and 8th grade students in classes on the first floor for fall 2010.
