Step 1 – Request Information
Submit an online inquiry to let us know you are interested in learning more about Park Day School. We will mail you an admission packet and you will begin to hear from us about upcoming admission events.
Tours are for adults only and take place October through early January. Tours are conducted in small groups led by experienced Park Day administrators. In addition to seeing classes in action, there is a Q&A session. Tours begin in the Magnolia building on the southeast corner of campus. Street parking fills up fast, so allow for time.
Parent Association Admission EventsOpen Houses take place in October, November and December. In early January we have "free play" on the yard for students entering Kindergarten, first and second grade. Contact email@example.com if you are interested in learning more about Park Day School after our January 20, 2017 application deadline has passed.
Sign up here for a House Party or Parent Mixer. The Park Day School Parent Association hosts events at the homes of current Park Day School families for prospective parents. We also hold an on-campus campus mixer on Saturday, January 28 where prospective parents can talk with staff, teachers, board members and current parents.
Step 3 – Complete the online application
Kindergarten Applicants: 90 minute group visit & assessment. Once we receive your application and teacher recommendation form, we will be in touch about your visit day. Due to volume of applicants, dates are assigned. We urge you to submit your application early if you have scheduling concerns. At least one parent should plan to stay on campus during your child’s assessment. During that time, you will participate in in a learning activity and conversation.

1st Grade Applicants: 90 minute group visit & assessment on Wednesday, Feb 15, 3 pm. At least one parent should plan to stay on campus during your child’s assessment. During that time, you will participate in a learning activity and conversation.
2nd Grade Applicants: 90 minute group visit & assessment on Tuesday, Feb 7, 3:30 pm. At least one parent should plan to stay on campus during your child’s assessment. During that time, you will participate in a learning activity and conversation.
3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Applicants: Individual all-day visits and assessments take place in January and February. The Admissions office will contact you to schedule your child’s visit.
6th Grade Applicants
7th & 8th Grade Applicants: Individual visits scheduled in January and February. The Admissions office will contact you to schedule your child’s visit once your application is received. If you would like your child to visit before your family commits to an application, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 6 -- Admission Decisions Notification
Park Day will send admission decisions on Friday, March 17, 2017. Tuition information for the 2017-18 school year will be included in the acceptance packets. Families who have applied for financial assistance will be notified of any financial assistance allocation at the same time they receive their offer of admission.
Step 7 -- Enroll in Park Day School
To enroll, families must return their signed enrollment contract and the required deposit no later than 9:00 AM on Friday March 24, 2017. We know that choosing a school is a monumental decision, and are here to support you every step of the way.
