PARTNERSHIPS

In the last five years, Park Day School has worked with or shared resources with the following partners:

Emerson Elementary School
We collaborate regularly with our neighborhood elementary school. This year our second graders read to preschoolers, 18 5th and 6th graders tutor weekly in Emersons after-school program, we share assemblies and offer enrichment classes (art and music) to 80 Emerson students weekly.

Rise, Reach, Sankofa Academy
These are three new small autonomous schools in the Oakland Unified School District. We have done book drives, given workshops and set up tutoring programs for these schools. Several teachers from these schools have visited our schools and a few have regular contact with our teachers.

Dozens of Oakland Public Schools have received books from our Spreading the Words Book Drive Campaign.
