Bequests and Planned GiftsRecognizing Park Day School in estate planning benefits the school and can result in gift and estate tax savings to the individual. Some planned gifts provide lifetime income benefits to the donor. All bequests and planned gifts will help Park Day School provide a diverse group of students with a rich educational program for many years to come. Fundraising Events Events can raise funds and fun! The Readathon is a day devoted to reading, while raising money pledged to students from neighbors, grandparents and friends. The Silent Auction happens every year and is a fun and noncompetitive way to support our school. In addition to these major events, the year often includes public and school community events which raise fun and funds. Check the calendar for dates and details. Checks Checks can be mailed to: Development Office Appreciated Securities & Stocks Gifts of appreciated securities can be a tax-wise way to give. Gifts of stock allow donors to claim the fair market value of appreciated securities at the time the gift is made. For instructions on how your broker can transfer your stock, contact the Development Office for details. Matching Gifts If you participate in your company's matching gift program, your gift to the school could be doubled or tripled. Obtain a matching gift form from your company, complete it, and return it to the Development Office.
