50th Anniversary

In the 2026–27 school year, Park Day School will proudly celebrate its 50th anniversary. It is a milestone that offers the perfect moment for reflection, and to honor our past, celebrate our present, and imagine our future together.

As we prepare for this special moment in time, we find ourselves diving into the archives, unearthing treasures from decades of Park Day history and finding yearbooks full of familiar faces, photos of joyful moments, and stories of the students, teachers, and families who shaped who we are today. Every discovery is a reminder of the strong, vibrant community that has defined Park Day from the very beginning.

This anniversary isn’t just about looking back, though. It’s an invitation to recommit to our founding values of progressive education, equity, and social justice. As we reflect on where we’ve been, we also dream together about where we’re going and how Park Day will continue preparing students to think critically, act compassionately, and make meaningful change in the world.

We’re especially excited about the opportunities this celebration will bring for current students, giving them a chance to connect with alumni, explore the school’s rich history, and deepen their understanding of the legacy they’re now part of.
