9/4 - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

12/21 - GRANDPARENTS & SPECIAL FRIENDS DAY
Grandparents and Special Friends Day happens the morning of Friday, December 21st. The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 9:00 - 9:30 AM Grandparents & Special Friends join us on campus through our entrance at 360 42nd Street. We reserve limited on-campus parking for those needing extra assistance. Coffee and pastries will be served in the Great Room.
- 9:30 - 10:15 AM Grandparents & Special Friends enjoy time with the children in their classrooms. Classrooms visits are reserved for Grandparents & Special Friends so that the students can enjoy this time with their special guests.
- 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM Students lead Grandparents & Special Friends to meet parents and guardians on the athletic field. As a part of a long-standing school tradition, we invite you to join us for an all-school gathering with performances by selected grades culminating in a sing-along.

3/23 - VISION INTO ACTION: AN ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE SYMPOSIUM
Park Day School is thrilled to announce this first-ever special event scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2019, on the campus of Park Day School. This one-day event for Park Day parents and community members will delve into the intersections of environmental and equity issues, both local and global.
The symposium will feature a keynote speech from Corrina Gould of the Confederated Villages of Lisjan/Ohlone. Corrina Gould co-founded the Native women-led Sogorea Te Land Trust. Our second keynote speaker is Miya Yoshitani, Executive Director at the Asian Pacific Environmental Network. There will be inspiring breakout sessions with workshops on various environmental justice topics, and informational booths hosted by local environmental justice organizations.
