Earth Week

Earth Week April 19-23

Thursday, April 22, marks the 51st anniversary of Earth Day. When it began in 1970, over 20 million Americans joined together in a movement to care for the environment. This year’s theme is Restore Our Earth, and we can play an important role. Let’s take part as community members and stewards of this beautiful planet!

Inspired by the success of last year’s Earth Week, we are launching three Green Challenges again for you to try out. Here’s a welcome video to kick off Tuesday’s Reduce Waste Tuesday Challenge!

Up next is Conserve Energy Wednesday:

and finally, for Earth Day: Garden Care Thursday

The schedule for the this year’s Earth Week Green Challenges:

  • April 20 — Reduce Waste Tuesday!
