Home Admissions Day in the Life of Kindergarten
Kindergarteners are confident, curious, and ready to grow! Our program builds on their developing independence, social-emotional skills, and emerging academic interests, inviting children to take on new challenges, collaborate with classmates, and deepen their love of learning.
In addition to the core academic program, Kindergarteners participate in Art, Learning Garden, Innovation Workshop, Music, PE, Spanish, Field Trips, and more. Kindergarten is open to students turning 5 by Sept. 15 in the year they enroll.
Park Day offers two Kindergarten classrooms comprised of 18-20 students and two primary teachers.
Kindergarten teachers, Victoria and Paola, share how the cross-grade reading buddies program fosters community and connection across campus.
Our spring Project Based Learning (PBL) unit was all about migration. Lessons intertwined science, literacy, and social justice as we studied butterfly migration and human migration, deepening our understanding of the world around us.
