Home Admissions Visit Campus
The best way to learn about Park Day School’s progressive Kindergarten – 8th grade program is to visit campus and see our students and teachers in action. Events take place October through January.
Weekday Tours for parents/guardians take place on Thursday and Friday mornings Oct – Jan, beginning at 8:45am. Following a tour of classrooms and campus, there is a 10am Q&A with school leadership.
Open House Registration
Weekend Open Houses take place on November 17 and December 14 from 10am – 12pm. Activities are available for students, and adults visit open classrooms and/or attend presentations with Park Day teachers.
The East Bay Mini Maker Faire takes place at the Park Day campus on October 27. Stop by the school information booth outside the Palm Building to talk with our Director of Admissions and faculty members.
Evening mixers take place in the private homes of Park Day School families. These are casual evening receptions to help you get a stronger sense of our school community from a parent perspective. Staff will not be present.
The Playground Playdate is designed for families of children applying to K-4th grade. This is a chance for students to get comfortable on campus, and play on the playground before they come to visit Park Day School for the student assessment. We’ll have unstructured free time with light snacks, and a chance to hang out in a relaxed setting with current Park Day families.
If you are the parent of a Middle School child and would like to attend, you are welcome. Middle school students typically volunteer at this event, and are available to answer your questions.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a visit during the spring and summer. Please also reach out if you are inquiring about a mid-year transfer, or missed the January 13 application deadline.
