Home Restorative Practices
This year at Park Day, we will be building on our K-8 social emotional learning program through restorative practices. At the heart of this work is our intentionality to build and maintain healthy relationships among all of the stakeholders in our community – students, staff, and parents/guardians. As students learn unifying language and tools for finding common ground, we want to include parents/guardians in this learning as well.
On October 28th, the Parent Stewardship Group will be sponsoring a Restorative Practices Parent Education session. Park Day faculty and staff will be joined by restorative schools trainer & implementation specialist, Kerri Berkowitz, to speak about our learning and engagement.
