Calling all rising 1st-6th graders, discover the magic of Park Day Summer Camp during the weeks of July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, Aug 4 (1st – 6th) and Happy Heron Kindergarten Camp the week of June 23-27. Each day at camp is an adventure with expert-led Movement, Maker, and Arts sessions! Our talented teaching artists lead campers through a variety of engaging activities such as sports, improv, arts and crafts, innovation workshops, and more, nurturing their skills and sparking their creativity. In the afternoon following our class offerings, students will dive into our exciting Choose Your Own Adventure time, where they can explore a variety of engaging activities like cooking, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and free play.

Our all-inclusive program stretches from 8:30am – 5:30pm for students entering grades 1st – 6th, and includes Early Bird Care, Movement+Maker+Art classes, and choose-your-own-adventure activities. Happy Heron Kindergarten Camp is from 9am – 12pm the week of June 23. Nutritious lunch and two healthy snacks are provided for no additional charge during full-day camp. Special dietary needs accommodated. Feel free to pack a bag lunch if your child prefers to bring their own!

Happy Herons Rising Kindergarten Camp

Rising Kindergarten Families: The week of June 23-27 includes a special camp for our rising Kindergartners at Happy Heron Camp. Register your child for this 9am – 12pm program and they will experience a taste of Kindergarten with the Park Day Kinder team!

Our program focuses on joyful learning and kindergarten readiness. Through engaging games, hands-on activities, and language-rich adventures, we nurture cognitive, social, and motor skills. In our supportive environment, your child will explore, express themselves, and build confidence. Join us for an adventure where every day brings new discoveries and prepares your child for kindergarten success!

Costs & Financial Policy

Summer camp registration will be billed through Smart Tuition and all billing will post on April 30.

Happy Herons Rising Kinder Camp is $295.
Park Day Summer Camp for rising 1st-6th graders is $590/week session with before care, extended care, lunch, and two snacks all included.
CIT Program is $490/week.

Full refunds will be issued for any cancellations occurring at least two months before the start date of camp.

50% refund for cancellations received more than one month prior to the start date of camp.
NO REFUND for cancellations received less than one month before camp begins.
Registration fees are non-transferable between participants.
If the camp is canceled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
In the case of a natural disaster that affects our ability to host any session of camp, we will first search for an alternative host site. If no alternate sites can be found, we will issue full refunds.

Discounts/Indexed Tuition

Anyone who pays 25% or less on the tuition indexed scale (as determined by 24-25 school year or 25-26 enrollment contract), receives a 10% discount.

Early Bird Care

Welcome to Early Bird Care, starting at 8:30 am! This morning session offers a warm beginning to the camp day, with no advance registration needed. Just check in to camp and enjoy outdoor play options, structured free play, and an easy transition into our Movement, Makers, and Art programming.

Movement+Maker+Art

Experience the enchantment of Park Day Summer Camp as children begin their day with our distinctive blend of Movement, Makers, and Arts classes. From exploring the fundamentals of various sports to engaging in inventive tinkering and artistic expression, Park Day Summer Camp offers a unique opportunity for kids to build skills, forge friendships, and create lasting memories. Each week, campers will partake in a rotation of these enriching activities, allowing them to explore the diverse facets of Movement, Maker, and Arts!

Choose Your Own Adventure

The adventure begins in the late afternoon! Campers are granted the freedom to choose their own adventure, exploring different offerings and engaging in unstructured play. This unique opportunity at the end of the day allows children to unwind, socialize, and immerse themselves in activities of their choice.

Late Bird Extended Care

This convenient afternoon extended care session offers an easy transition for families with scheduling needs. With no advance registration required, let your kiddo stay with us for a blend of outdoor play options and structured activities, providing a smooth wind-down for students.

Pick-Up & Drop-Off

Drop-Off Time: 8:30AM – 9:00 AM-Feel free to drop your kiddos off during this time to use our Early Bird Morning Care option which is free of charge. We ask that you park on 42nd Street and enter through the pedestrian gate. Please walk your kiddo to the Pavillion to check in with one of our summer camp staff members at the check-in cart!
Pick-Up Time: 5:30PM-Parents/guardians are to pick up their kids at the Pavillion and check out with a PDS summer camp staff member. As with drop-off, please park on 42nd Street and enter through the pedestrian gate to pick up your child. If you need to pick up earlier in the afternoon, please let us know via email and we can have your student ready to go for your arrival.
Procedure: Parents/guardians are required to sign in and sign out their children each day. Please have a photo ID ready during pick-up for security purposes. If someone other than a parent/guardian will be picking up your child, please notify us through email in advance and ensure they have proper identification.

CIT Program

The CIT program at PDS Summer Camp is designed for our rising 7th and 8th graders who are eager to take on leadership roles, develop valuable life skills, and gain hands-on experience working with campers. It’s a fantastic opportunity for growth, self-discovery, and the chance to make lasting memories.

Key CIT Program Details:

Age Eligibility: Open to Park Day Rising 7th and 8th graders
Program Duration: Sign up by week (Camp runs from 8:30am-5:30pm from Jul 7-Aug 8)
Activities: CITs will actively participate in various camp activities, assist counselors, and receive leadership training.
Responsibilities: CITs will take on responsibilities such as leading small group activities, assisting with program planning, and serving as positive role models for younger campers.
Training Sessions: Weekly training sessions will cover essential leadership and teamwork skills.
Pricing: $490 per week
