Home Virtual Food Drive
PDS 5th graders have been regular volunteers at the Alameda County Community Food Bank for the past four years as part of our service learning program. Our students have spent many hours over the years in the warehouse bagging fresh fruits and vegetables. Since we cannot volunteer at the warehouse during shelter-in-place, our 5th graders decided to launch the PDS Virtual Food Drive as a way to stay connected and continue to support the food bank from afar.
